Carolynne Wilson’s extensive experience over 30 years in establishing and managing organisational infrastructure, change management and evaluation is enhanced by her Masters of Business Administration, and Masters of International and Community Development.

Carolynne’s contributions have:

This contribution has been across all sectors: profit; non-profit; and government. Carolynne has achieved high quality outcomes by applying her unique ability of finding pathways through ambiguity, navigating bureaucracy and leveraging resources.  Highlights include:

  • Bupa quality, development and governance management including successful attainment of ISO Certification in 2015 for Bupa Medical Visa Services.
  • Development of a funding proposal to meet the changing dynamic of Government funding. The outcome was successful allocation of $2.5m over 18 months for an Aboriginal health organisation to tackle tobacco for 2016/17.
  • Australian Red Cross establishing and managing the infrastructure for on-shore processing of Asylum Seekers $200m program in 2012/2013.
  • Establishing and implementing the global transformation program for transparency to Aid for World Vision International’s $4b program of works.
  • Barwon/Otways strategic fire planning 2010, recognised as best practice during December 2015 fires.
  • Ongoing 4 year relationship with the National Transport Commission designing and implementing co-design strategies in complex stakeholder environments, resulting in Ministerial decision making. Current reform project Chain of Responsibility for Heavy Vehicles.
  • Telstra’s billing system preparation for sale, resulting in a successful 5 year multi-million dollar contract with EDS/IBMGSA which incorporated the transfer of 750 Telstra employees.
  • In the remote indigenous communities of Mornington Island and Doomadgee, Carolynne engaged with the Communities and all levels of Government (local, state & commonwealth) to design and implement a strategy that changed the conversation between government and the Indigenous communities. This resulted in the collective signing of the five year strategies she created for Health, Safe Communities, Early Childhood, Schooling, Healthy Homes, Economic Participation and Governance & Leadership.
  • 5½ years at General Motors Carolynne built strong local and international networks. Responsible for over 500 change projects such as: supporting utilisation of $90m in research; establishing and managing programs that led to new infrastructure up to $200m; leading international waste reduction projects that included the end-to-end international supply chain resulting in millions of dollars taken out; culture change; centralisation of services; integration.
  • Leading Six Sigma projects at General Electric that created compliance reform, culture change and enabled ACCC approval for the purchase and integration of the GE Finance retail network in Australia and New Zealand (150 branches).

Carolynne has strong networks in all sectors and can work with any level within an organisation and across civil society. 2015 included BirdLife Australia, ASIC, Bupa, Victorian Aboriginal Health Services, Melbourne Olympic Park Trust, Department of Environment Land and Water, ASIC, National Transport Commission and Places You Love.
